The Seed
Yerram Vijay Kumar’s late father, Shri Yerram Shankaraiah, wanted to establish an orphanage to care for children who could not provide for themselves. He always believed that one should always try to offer something back to society. He would, in his way, contribute to charitable causes, but his lifelong dream was to establish a loving and nurturing orphanage. The journey of Vasavi started with Vijay Kumar’s urge to honour his late father’s dream. Thus, VASAVI FOUNDATION took birth in 2021.
The Journey
Vasavi is a dedicated NGO committed to making a significant impact in the lives of individuals and communities. With a strong focus on diverse initiatives encompassing children’s health, education, and skill development for young individuals, we strive to create a better and brighter future for all.
At Vasavi, we believe every child deserves access to quality healthcare and education. Through our various programs, we work towards providing essential medical care, promoting health awareness, and ensuring educational opportunities for children from marginalized backgrounds.
